We needed to rent out our property for short term holiday rentals, and not knowing where to start we contacted Lindsay at rental tonic.

I would like to tell you haw delighted we have been with the service ...Lindsay spent several hours in our apartment and surrounding area taking photos and notes. When we received the report and her final comments for your website we re thrilled. Lindsay is quite obviously very experienced in the travel industry. She was able to give us several pointers to make the apartment more appealing and better for small children. We cant wait to 'go live' and see how quickly we achieve some renters....we expect to get lots as her description of our apartment was glowing!! I was a bit anxious about the visit...would I feel criticised, defensive, "inspected"? But I felt none of these whatsoever when Nancy came out to see our house. She was very warm and friendly and immediately put me at ease. She spent a few hours and was extremely thorough. She had lots of great suggestions, without ever once making me or the house feel criticised. (Can a house "feel" criticised?)
Nancy's thoroughness continued throughout the write up process, every detail was taken care of. You can tell when you read the write up that it is written by someone who knows the house well, unlike other agency sites.
As a result of all the advice Nancy gave us; really niche marketing, adding extras and using social media we have increased our prices by an enormous 50% and we are still getting the bookings, in fact we are getting 30% more bookings. This, of course, is during a recession and when more people are choosing to holiday at home in the UK.
Nancy was (and is) a joy to deal with. From her help and advice via email to the actual inspection of our house, where she offered us great advice based on her wealth of experience, but with a kind and caring attitude. I must admit my knees were knocking before she arrived as we found had ourselves behind schedule, and Nancy chose to overlook the mop bucket accidentaly left behind in the kitchen!!! Focusing on all the good points instead!

She wrote a very comprehensive and helpful Strategy Report with some excellent ideas following her visit to our holiday let property. This was also written extremely promptly.
Since then she has been a huge support in advising me about a range of issues and in particular has helped tremendously by copy-writing whole pages for a new website. Overall it has been an excellent service.
